Proxy chains are just a technique of routing network traffic through multiple proxy servers to increase anonymity and bypass some network restrictions.
When using a proxy chain, traffic is first sent to a proxy server, which then forwards it to another proxy server, and so on, until the traffic finally reaches its destination.
Each proxy in the chain helps to hide your original IP address and location, making it not impossible but extremely difficult for anyone to trace the traffic back to you.
The thing is that you can add more and more proxy servers as you want (or can) to the chain.

Amethyst shows me my umbrel relay as active and online when I am away from home. I do not use tailscale or any vpn.
However, when I connect to wifi at home it is not possible to connect. I know this is due to the ws:// issue. But connected away from home?
