Thank you so much OpenSats for selecting my project, Blitz Wallet, for funding!
No words can describe the feeling of a project you have been working tirelessly on for the last 7 months being recognized as something that has the potential to make an impact in the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Regardless of school, being a Resident Assistant in my dorm, my internship, or any other outside factors I’ve stayed dedicated to building my application because I believe it has the potential to change the world. And now, with OpenSats' generosity, that belief is starting to turn into a reality.
Nothing random happens in life, your choices create your outcomes. And, being awarded this grant proves just that. nostr:note1t8xwpcclsz2p56q70a62keh4eg6kpgegmyjv6xpycfsyyd70wjhq5s9ww3
Blitz Wallet has made its way into the Human Rights Foundation Financial Freedom Report!
One of my goals with Blitz is to make using Bitcoin easy. While there are many ways I have gone about doing that, the main way is by creating In-app integrations that you can easily pay for from your wallet.
In the report, they wrote about the SMS service integration which allows you to send and receive SMS messages anonymously for enhanced privacy. In the future email support will also be available.
Blitz Wallet also currently has a chatGPT integration which allows you to interact with chatGPT anonymously and more cheaply than the web version.
More integrations are to come, but it’s surreal seeing my work being featured alongside other ground breaking work in the space.
Blitz Wallet Beta is live!!

If you want to create a wallet you need to be able to accept some transactions. WOOOO. https://video.nostr.build/27fb81dfc62ca25ddc669fc25d25155330351c05d3c0ed1f66b18335cdfb8659.mov
Let’s generate some bitcoin addresses! https://video.nostr.build/9094c1d5612056d6c31ccf4faec67923a161855c4b1734ce0e163ef632fb7682.mov
Thank you Muun Wallet for the UI inspiration. You can now scan, paste, or get information from a QR code.
You can also see the full Bitcoin address at each stage.
And give custom transaction fee along with suggested fees given current mempool. https://video.nostr.build/48609b172c821c621a48920f70e6bcf8db85c2f58aca285c8adf03e47a587019.mov
Yep, and it's standard across the app UI:

Woah. Welp i guess I’m not different:(
nostr:npub15369wu3wzzar5fclhecyqfv683x69n6nhlg7rxqnsg2dydgxflpq3apswl did it first.
It's the best implementation IMO too.
Did they really? What does it look like.
I recommend checking if BDK has language bindings for RN. JavaScript isn’t the most secure language…
Will do!
Ya it’s a npm library. It defaults to 128 bits of entropy using the crypto.randomBytes library.
The colors are arbitrary. The goal was to have a distinct difference between each balance.
Hmm. Any chance you could send a picture of what you mean?
Decided that I wanted to show both sats and btc in the same UI. How does it look? https://video.nostr.build/d4eda84d39bcf9691b1d6e7852cae648b1ba7e0104c0a27c00a3c5eea8695295.mov
For the mnemonic seed phase I used bip39. To derive address and payments I’m going to use bitcoinjs-lib.
Currently building a #Bitcoin wallet.
So far have a mnemonic seed phrase + validation and PIN for wallet login.
I’m using this to learn React-Native. If anyone knows anyone for an internship in front-end web development/ react / react-native let me know. https://nostr.build/av/0c645cccdb5755163c68b624dfadbe7d08b2b514c721d14c067fde9de4fd4972.mov
There is something fascinating about natural forces but also something deeply human about wanting to control the uncontrollable. Yet the most beautiful processes are those that humans have yet to touch.
Can someone explain to me the thesis behind Bch. Doesn’t large blocks kills the transaction reward. Meaning their solution is actually creating a problem?
