until now, I treated the name field as the same as the local part of NIP05, but now I see it might not always be the case.
There's still some confusion around names and NIP05. How should clients display that info, and also, does the NIP05 field validates against the name (petname) or just that field? if one has a verified NIP05 but has a totally different name as petname, what's the expected name
to be used?
at the moment, for images to be recognized, they need to have a valid extension, so links that don't have an image extension don't get recognized as media and display as a link.
Are you having problems with any picture or just this one? Seems like the problem is on your end only, have you tried switching machines, browser, etc.. ?
nostr.com is probably the least updated client out there. try astral.ninja, branle.netlify.app or alphaama.com
Right now I'm using background > pubkey > event_id
A<3 nightly update

if the filed bot is present, then it's true, so might as well take use the other field for something productive. but as you had initially is more than a good fit for anything, that might not be bots, and we can always have a {type:"my bot"} if needed.
I like this, but is there another option other than human? if it's only human or bot, maybe the kind field could be only {bot:"type of bot"}, if other types then yes, like you have is perfect.
thanks! it's still wip, figuring things out as I go.. still a lot left to do
this is why I haven't released more alphaama updates sooner, I'm enjoying getting back into painting, very relaxing,
sorry not sorry :)
alphaama will not autoload media by default starting with next release, you'll need to enable media loading by entering a command. this includes profile pictures.
hopefully, I'll focus more on features and less on the layout moving forward
making good progress on alphaama, I think I'm gonna release this version as 2.3, because I don't know how long it will take me to implement all the features I want in v3, but at least a great improvement overall can be out sooner. just need to tidy up the code
can't wait to say the same for alphaama... let's go goddamus! :)
is there a downside of using just "#" instead of "hashtag"? just curious, I'm fine either way..
