⚡️🚨ALERT: Bybit confirms a hack that emptied its ETH cold wallet ($1.4 billion).

🔍 What happened:

-A transaction was signed from their ETH cold wallet to their warm wallet.

-The interface displayed a correct address, but the actual transaction modified the logic of the smart contract.

-The signatories validated without seeing that the hacker was taking control of the cold wallet.

- All ETH were transferred to an unknown address.

CEO Bybit reassures his users: no other wallet is affected and withdrawals are working normally.

I understand. I guess it’s not for everyone. Perhaps they want to build low time preference plebs and long term stackers. It is easy for me as I have not touched my stack in over 7 years. But I understand why other people may find it difficult. 🙂
