Or even easier, activated within your Smartphone settings, read the attached Article.
Even if you agree with these Regimes, remember, Regimes and ideologies change. So that one day, you are deemed obedient just to wake up the next day a criminal due to Regime change.
AI is at the moment really worrying. It gets much wrong, it also is biased depending on the developer and training it received. And frankly its racist in many cases as well.

There are though promising projects emerging in the open source world, that I believe can be used to even the playing fields for consumers and citizens a like.
I think it can help with privacy concerns, it will be able to show you what nation states. large investment companies, banking institutions, health providers and regular companies have collected about you, what they know, what they sell and what type of profile's they have on you.
Where you knowingly or unknowingly consented, if even.
It will hopefully and finally bring transparency forth, about the companies, their tactics and government's involvement and shady dealings(lobbing for instance), so that these will become known and preventable in the future.
