I would love to know this information. I suspect that most musicians don't even bother to find out this kind of stuff.
Also, I don't know about how WL handles stats but most custodial wallets don't have easy ways to ex-filtrate this data.
Which to me is a good reason for musicians and podcasters to self host their own nodes, and use apps like Helipad to get these numbers.

Is there a real technical reason why Strike does not support keysend payments?
Popdcasting 2.0 relies heavily on it. Other solutions like bolt 11 (lnurl) are far inferior for podcast apps to use.
Too many slow http lookups making proper splits impractical, not enough room for metadata (boostagrams) and others.
Keysend is a legitimate part of the Lightning protocol and has been used now for millions of transactions which have helped to not only foster BTC adoption but has been able to finally allow direct payments from a listener to a musician.
Another keysend benefit is that transactions done through an RSS feed are publicly audit-able. Which makes it harder for scammers to hide skimming off the top.
Most lnurl solutions for handling splits require a 3rd party to facilitate the splits on behalf of the listener which not only adds another point of failure or potential fraud, but may bring into legal "money transmitter" issues. (I'm not a lawyer so I'm not for sure about this)

BTC is supposed to be peer to peer cash. lnurl throws in a 3rd party (or service) into the mix which eliminates the peer to peer nature of the transaction.
Keysend is true peer to peer, no web servers needed, just one node sending value to another node over a native protocol.
Many in this community feel that we are being forced into using sub par solutions because the big companies don't want to implement keysend.
Again, please reconsider supporting keysend within Strike.

This wont work for many reasons, but mainly because as you pointed out the RSS feeds are generally larger than the max event size most relays have set
Also using kind 1's for data is generally a bad idea since it conflicts with social clients (bad UX) but I'm guessing your using them mostly to test

At the moment I'm leaning towards that it's retarded to try to replace the existing RSS infrastructure. (I'm willing to be convinced otherwise)
RSS is Rock Solid. It's been time tested, battle hardened and it just works.
The argument that having to have a server to host one's feed is somehow difficult or out of reach for most folks is ridiculous. There are currently 4,370,848 feeds that say otherwise.
Why re-invent the wheel?
Granted there are some things that nostr can do that RSS can't and vice versa, but the RSS spec is very flexible and extensible. After all that's what the podcast namespace is all about.
We can find ways that make RSS and nostr play nice with each other but to try to replace RSS seems like folly to me.

I don't think it makes sense to put the xml into a kind 1 note.
Kind 1 is intended to be for short text notes.

Also is nostr really a good place for feeds? Some feeds are several megabytes in size.
My feed is about 1.5 MB in size. The Bowl After Bowl feed is 6.4 MB
What happens when I publish a new episode?
Does the outdated nostr version exist in perpetuity?
If so that could add up to wasted HD space pretty quickly considering there are over 4.37 million podcast feeds that we know of.
I'm not a nostr expert but there's got to be a way to say delete my old note, this is it's updated replacement.
