An average block is about 1 MB in size.
Although it seems that max. 4 MB is allowed.
So 4 (MB) x 6 (10 minutes per hour) x 24 (hours per day) x 365 (days per year) x 15 (years of the timechain) = 3.1 TB
Looks like we're still good with 1.6 TB. 😅🙈
I'm curious about whether and how you prune it from the NFT rubbish, as soon as it's synced.

This is the exact same story for me.
When censorship orgy started in 2020 I flew temporarily to Mastodon, which is even worse. I read about Nostr, but thought it would take too long to be usable. I also thought it would be complicated something with blockchain or second layer or some kind of self hosting.
The principle is really so simple as to ask oneself the question, why only now? Why so late? 😅🚀
The final tipping point for me was watching nostr:npub1s05p3ha7en49dv8429tkk07nnfa9pcwczkf5x5qrdraqshxdje9sq6eyhe talking about #nostr, how he wondered that people don't notice that Twitter (ex 'X' 🥴) can never be free.
Although it's good someone from private sector - a meme billionaire - fights for freedom of speech politically. But I try to be careful falling into the blind faith in an open advocate of transhumanism, which is the modern form of communism!
I got to know Jeff Booth from the #BitcoinAtlantis online streams, I saw his passion, the tears in his eyes.
I saw the magic. Now I'm here on #nostr spending at least the same amount of time here like I do on Twitter.

China has been definitely a key factor. And it's probably over, as Chinese labor cost is gonna rise because of demographic decline.
Another effect for unchanged inflation despite of money printing probably is that new money didn't make it's way to the consumer at all, but only to the debt bubbles of nation states.
