Art on Bitcoin.
My mempool needs you.

1) As a constant reminder to market participants that bitcoin doesn't give a fuck what YOU want stored on the chain. Bitcoin is for enemies.
2) To increase the security budget. Everything is good for bitcoin.
3) To make Ethereum irrelevant.
4) It's the perfect expression of value for a bitcoiner like myself. The purest Bitcoin circular economy. You're literally buying and selling sats for sats.
5) It's lots of fun. Bitcoin gets very boring after a few cycles.

Bitcoins cultural layer is Ordinals. It's raw Satoshi expression.

2 of 3 are also not feeling as secure as I'd personally like as to rug you, one is kept in the app and the other on their server. I think nostr:npub1cvqlzvmjercdn0ypsmv8f7j9lge6ahsnueh5rparh53wuswftv4q49yjt3 did an article on this potential weakness a while back.
I like it for small change sub 1M sat wallets and do recommend it a lot to my friends who I know are looking for an alternative to Kraken and Bitstamp but I know they're not going to be holding much on there.
I was thinking more like using Bitkey as a signer like a tapsigner in another wallet in a 3/5 quorum.
Here you go...

That's the nuclear option and would take us back to GPU Goblin Town leaving us open to hostile actors owning the majority of the hashrate.
You can't just order the amount of ASICs required for securing the network on a new algorithm. Hardware takes years to build out. It would essentially be bricking every current ASIC rig on the planet.
Then why is nostr:npub17u5dneh8qjp43ecfxr6u5e9sjamsmxyuekrg2nlxrrk6nj9rsyrqywt4tp talking about quantum computers being the next big threat to #bitcoin that needs serious thought now and not in 5-10 years?

The dude doesn't own a single sat. He owns IOUs that he hopes will be redeemed by Coinbase.

All coins seized by any government should be burned. That includes SR and Bitfinex coins.
Apart from Bhutan and El Salvador, all government holdings are predicated on theft.
Every sat returns to its rightful owner given enough time. From the impatient to the patient, from the hackers to the victims, from ponzi governments to the plebs.
... yes nostr is a protocol but I'm a loyal Primal fan so the term platform works well.
In what way exactly?
I've had this nostr account for two years and have bounced off every few months over the last two years. I keep hearing nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx sing it's praises every week on nostr:npub10uthwp4ddc9w5adfuv69m8la4enkwma07fymuetmt93htcww6wgs55xdlq but something wasn't clicking for me.
Primal 2.0 is a massive upgrade in my user experience, this time I might stay with it.
Many Odell refugees on nostr. The only platform I can check once or twice a day and not be left with that itchy feeling like I need to be on socials more. This is a good thing imo.

ngl, umbrel the only node that i've been running for years that has given me 100% uptime, caused me the least hassle and been the easiest to DIY build.
... and i've ran them all from vanilla Core, Start9, Ronin, MyNode and more.
