I have had back/hip issues since my early 20s. I went the chiro path and didnt find much true help.
Physiotherapy/guided stretching has helped me maintain a better state over the last many years. Chiro can adjust you, but if your body is working against the adjustment the whole time, adjustments will be needed more frequently. YMMV.
