We've got only 8 days until we get on the big ol' jet airliner, but there's soooo much work to do before then.

Great news:

#[0] and I will be presenting at #Nostrasia (Yin stage at 10:45 on day 1) and we have a lot to share. The sites are nearly ready for demo, but the slides and video... not so much. That's okay, we have some time this week to wrap stuff up.

The process of pairing to build reactive websites with NDK has been rewarding in many ways. Imagining what could be has been a delight, and the technical learning is opening many new doors of discovery. As a father-daughter team, the experience of building and traveling to Tokyo is truly irreplaceable and is the biggest benefit of all.

Thanks to you who have attended our NostrOC meetups. Your feedbackand ideas have been super helpful, and we appreciate y'all. No new meetups on the calendar for now. I'll list something in November after I get back from Nostrville (TN) and provide a full update on both events.

A mostly full Friday of fiat mining today, followed fast by video editing and more photoshop & slide styling. The weekend will surely be a blur of activity.

Feel like we’ve been sprinting for months, but amazingly have boundless energy. #PacificBitcoin in the rear view mirror, #nostrasia on the horizon, and #nostrville sneaking up quietly.

Pairing with nostr:npub1afne208f0mlwl9aktfkss0xs6zd7ga6w4e5hx3dh3lg24vfl8ddswzqdtu in a fine groove; we made some solid advances in the projects over the weekend, and still had plenty of time with family, friends, and music in nature under the sun, laughing.

Breakthroughs are not predictable, but we can increase the odds in a few ways.

First, step away from the problem, literally. Get outta the chair, head outside and keep walking. Exercise and fresh air, not to mention a change of scenery and cognitive focus, are good for the brain.

Also try solving other problems and puzzles. Smaller things. Get back inside your comfort zone and build up wins; the momentum to charge once again at the big challenge at the edge of your skills.

Sure enough, NDK is becoming clearer to me as I meet new challenges head on.

Building with NDK is mostly a rewarding experience. The docs site at https://ndk.fyi/docs is helpful, and there are a couple good videos available by nostr:npub1zuuajd7u3sx8xu92yav9jwxpr839cs0kc3q6t56vd5u9q033xmhsk6c2uc that walk us newbs through the onboarding.

Yet when we get stuck, there’s too few sites and sources to get us unstuck. (What do you mean “event.publish is not a function”? Yes it is. Says so in the docs!!) ugghh

When we’re done hacking ananostr we’ll post the video of our process. Until then, pain.
