The fediverse is already a very fascinating place. I post memes, lukewarm takes, and the occasional news. Check out @lsn@fedi.libresolutions.network which is a passion project of mine. šŸ•Šļø Pray for Peace

Imagine being abducted by a strange giant being that removes problems you thought were permanent.

Despite what one may think about LLMs & social media in general, two concerns come to mind that are worth taking seriously:

1) Excess/Abusive load on smaller instances (It's not like these companies treat archive.org fairly!)

2) There is no guarantee your posts will be represented accurately, opening you up for weird problems later. This means that even "don't post anything you'll regret later" isn't that helpful.

It's the exact same mechanism, civil courts.

You just don't seem to be willing to discuss the idea to it's conclusion.

Is tort law (which software licenses rely on) state coercion?

If it is, it applies in many more areas than just landlords, but the similarities are clear.

The same applies to landlords, is renting immoral because tenants can be evicted using state services?

Meaning, all of the common open source licenses support, and rely on, the State’s coercion through violence.

Is all tort law state coercion?

How does "you have permission do use this under these circumstances" necessitate state violence?

Not a crazy idea...
