Why is the us it self not red?
Pride per se is not bad unto it self but what you take pride in and how much you hold on to it, that is the difference.
Taking pride in a difficult accomplishment and allowing yourself to bask in the moment of success is very important, healthy and rewarding.
Holding onto that moment too long, and or taking pride in a simple things like a personal physical attribute is where pride becomes malignant and narcissistic
There is a positive and a negative to pride.
Unfortunately it is all too easy to fall on the negative side as it is with most things of this world
