This week we discuss how a channel open on Lightning Network anchors to the #Bitcoin blockchain.
A detail-oriented explanation as to how channels are formed and viewed on chain.
Today, we are excited to share with you a Just in time LSP.
This LSP will know when you need liquidity, then automatically make it happen.
Flow 2.0 is a noncustodial way to receive Lightning payments without thinking about channels.
We utilize zero-conf channels and preimage hashes to allow it to work instantly and ensure payments are always completed by the recipient.
With increased privacy as well!
This means a node could have zero channels established and still receive a payment.
Similar experiences exist inside of some mobile app ecosystems, but we wanted to bring this to the entire #LightningNetwork.
This is a major requirement for global adoption of #Bitcoin.
Imagine a @BtcpayServer merchant not having to watch their channel balances or ask for inbound capacity.
Think of all the app developers that can go back to creating their app instead of managing liquidity for their users.
All without locking up your own precious Bitcoin.
This is a big step in creating an easy noncustodial experience.
