This was an experiment that I tried with small scraps that I had no other use for. It was very time consuming but I really like how it turned out. It made sense to make a very long piece in order to use the most scraps so I was able to cut it into thirds for a matching set.

I've used scraps to build different wine bottle racks. Very few of them I use the CNC for. I purchased a three and a quarter inch forstner bit and that gets the job done. when I get out to the shop later today I'll take a few pictures of the wine racks that I have left and post them.
My new design for the #Onefinity #CNC. It holds 6 standard 6" or 8" pots and stands 36" tall.

Nothing but fly cutting when Iβm operating.

That's a pretty cool machine, Zach. I bought myself a 1finity CNC router just before christmas. It's pretty fun learning how to get it to make cool things. Do you own that rig or is that where you work?
TIP FOR VALENTINE'S DAY CARDS
For those of us who are less romantic but still expected to be, I have a great tip for your Valentine's Day cards. Even though we buy a card we are still expected to write something heartfelt on the inside to go along with Hallmark's words. The problem isn't that I don't love her, the problem is that I struggle with the words to convey my feelings so I came up with a solution.
When you're picking out your card to purchase, pick out a second card that does convey your feelings to plagiarize! Or at least use it for ideas.
For those of you that are romantically impaired, tell me that tip isn't worth some stats!
10 cedar tank lids completed! A great little #SideHustle. #GrowNostr #Woodworking

Back story:
My neighbor, that I hadn't met, needed lids made for a product his business is working on. Since he always saw me working out off my garage he asked if I could build these for them.

This is my second batch and it's a nice little profit. The lids go on tanks that hold greywater which is circulated through another tank with plants that clean the water.

Since I had to make so many exactly the same it made sense to set up several different jigs to make sure all of the cuts, placement and holes were perfect.

Next up is to get ready for a Mother's Day fair. I'm thinking lots of cutting boards, picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, concealment furniture and shelves, maybe some owl and bat boxes.
Stay tuned.
I had an account when nostr:npub15879mltlln6k8jy32k6xvagmtqx3zhsndchcey8gjyectwldk88sq5kv0n first talked about it. Had problems with Iris so I didn't check it for a while. Then I was read only and couldn't figure out how to fix it so I made this account. So yeah.... Still pretty new

Working in the #woodshop today. I bought the #Onefinity CNC for a specific job but didn't have time to build out the work bench over top of it until the job was done. Now it's time to get that finished.
