10. Mental health is as important as physical health. You have to take your mental health seriously. Have strategies to cope. There will be times when it will seem impossible to go on. First recognise that you are suffering. Second, keep your head down and focus on the present. Focus on taking just one more step and soon you will find that you’re made it to the other side. Just remember “This too will end”. It will end and you’ll be stronger for it.
It doesn’t matter who wins. It’s going to be forever war.
8. Marry someone out of your league.
9. Marry someone who (you think) is smarter than you. That way you’ll always respect them.
Nostr is social media for your enemies as well. That’s the whole point.
6. If anyone says “for the greater good”, RUN. AND DON’T STOP. They are willing to burn down the world for the “greater good”.
7. Self confidence is like money. You’ve got to earn it by succeeding in difficult things and just like money everyone is trying to take it away from you. You’ve got to earn it and protect it.
I’m trying to build a list of truths to pass on to my kids. I’ve got a few, feel free to add more.
1. God love you. Not your religion.
2. Build your life on truth - people lie, countries lie, religions lie, media lies. Don’t trust verify.
3. Mainstream media and social media, they all have an agenda. Make sure it aligns with yours before following.
4. Kindness is underrated
5. You don’t need to advertise your beliefs. It’s OK to believe something others don’t.
Unfortunately when people make a mistake they become bitter and double down rather than learn from it. Except Elon to become more and more angry with bitcoin.
They’ve prevented non Canadians from buying property in Canada. The Toronto “property boom” was propped up by foreign buyers. They’ve shot themselves in the foot. They’re protecting realestate in the second largest country in the world.
Having perpetrated one genocide and now being complicit in another, I don’t think Germany deserves bitcoin.
Listened to a talk on this on “Bitcoin Audible” podcast. We are decades off for quantum computing, even if they can figure out the problems. SHA250 is also used in all banking etc etc so definitely there’ll be a fix.
