In the long run we’re all dead.
The real question is: why do we allow anyone to regulate any company, whether they invest in it or not?
The optics of congress’ insider trading may be unsavory but they’re unwittingly mitigating the damage their regulation does by signaling the market with their wallets sooner rather than later.
Fake but I had to search to be sure 😁
A better word for the bad kind of altruism for which Auguste Comte coined the term might be “abnegationism”.
If Greg Abbott follows through with yesterday’s statement it would be the most significant nullification in US history.
I currently live in New Hampshire but there’s a good chance I’ll be moving to northern Idaho in the next few years.
I've said it before but I'll say it again: Freevee is an absolute sci-fi gold mine.
If you have Amazon Prime then you already have Freevee. It's also available as a standalone app on smart TVs or Roku, or you can use this free Android app.

My wife and I just finished watching The X-Files on it. It’s awesome seeing the series in HD for the first time.
There’s no such thing as murder of a communist agitator.
Feminism is a fetish for having your own name on a paycheck rather than your husband's which goes into a joint account with your name on it anyway.
I wouldn’t go as far as 100% because although corporate cronyism is something that fascism does share with globalism, fascism is explicitly nationalist rather than internationalist/globalist. The cartoon works if you assume the internationalism of Marxism (which historically is more theory than practice) dominates the nationalism of fascism (which of course it has, at least against white Western European nations). Globalism is effectively non-white nationalist colonialism posturing as internationalist progressivism. (And yes I realize how spergy of a response this is to a friggin’ political CARTOON lol)
I’d much rather have large estates go to spoiled rich kids than spoiled politicians.
Rand’s only philosophy was ultimately her own Objectivism, which she based primarily on Aristotle. Logical positivism may have influenced her at some point but any such influence appears to have been ancillary compared to Aristotle. A long time ago I read Language Truth and Logic by AJ Ayer; the overlap with Rand is primarily in the domain of epistemology from what I can remember.
Ayn Rand was fun to read, but ultimately, silly.
[Mozart was a Red!](https://youtu.be/KIk5C2qsRH8?feature=shared) - a play by Murray Rothbard (featuring a young Jeffrey Tucker)
Enjoy!
#sorry #notsorry
The aesthetics branch of her philosophy is indeed silly but the philosophy as a whole is magisterial.
He argued for pacifism in a debate with Tom Woods. This in combination with his open borders immigration stance is surrender to the third world. Murphy is brilliant and perceptive but also profoundly evil, which makes him highly dangerous.
Murphy wants us to put the interests of third worlders ahead of our own.
