Like nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx says, just assume ALL KYC data will be stolen and act accordingly.

Maybe don’t send your DNA to a data mining + broker juggernaut?

nostr:npub1maxu749d8c36ue8q4egwkww28wqz7k4qnhu9uq593d543w50r60qfsypvz read his comment. This is what I was saying can happen to any KYC coins 😵‍💫

I was explaining to a friend today how private keys work and as usual, the typical questions and doubts came rolling out:

- “How exactly is this private key created?”

- “What if someone accidentally gets the same private key as me?”

- “What if someone guesses my private key?”

- “What if a hacker gets his computer to find my private key?”

- “…”

I usually blow their minds with this video where James D’Angelo👇 (if you want to start using it as well)

https://youtu.be/ZloHVKk7DHk

The 1st time I watched this video I wanted to cry. Hearing how well he explained this was like listening to a beautiful sympathy that flowed into the most magical reality.

Really, music to my ears ✨

“If you wanna roll dice for the rest of your life, you are gonna need a lot of lives. You are gonna need a gajillion lives.”

Obviously a "gajillion" is not a formal or official number in mathematics or in any numeral system that I know of. It's a colloquial term, but when he says “gajillion”, it really sounds like he ran the numbers 😂

1. Ten: 10^1

2. Hundred: 10^2

3. Thousand: 10^3

4. Million: 10^6

5. Billion: 10^9

6. Trillion: 10^12

7. Quadrillion: 10^15

8. Quintillion: 10^18

9. Sextillion: 10^21

10. Septillion: 10^24

11. Octillion: 10^27

12. Nonillion: 10^30

13. Decillion: 10^33

14. Undecillion: 10^36

15. Duodecillion: 10^39

16. Tredecillion: 10^42

17. Quattuordecillion: 10^45

18. Quindecillion: 10^48

Note: There's also a long-scale system, where the names of numbers are different. For example, in the long-scale system, a "billion" is 10^12 instead of 10^9. However, the short-scale system has become more widely adopted globally.

Sorry for the typo/ lack of finishing my thought.

I wanted to say….

I usually blow their minds with this video where James D’Angelo explains the amazing math behind #Bitcoins private keys 👇

https://youtu.be/ZloHVKk7DHk

🫣 No matter how many times I re-read my texts… if it’s long, there is always a typo. In nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 after x amount of texts it has a problem scrolling and showing me what I’m typing or editing. I’m literally just guessing based on what I see in the predictive text box. I suppose it’s also my fault for being so lazy and not writing this in notes first 😵‍💫😮‍💨

What is this place? Do I need to add it to my list?
