Will be working on migrating my blog/newsletter to Ghost now. All Twitter posts and previous newsletters in one place, sorted to tags.

And finally posting to Nostr (had to set repetition in todo list for that).

We can't expect people to take care of their digital privacy unless

1) It is more convenient than privacy disrespecting apps.

2) It is only way how to stay out of jail when governments starts to inforce their new policies.

Metadata can get you killed. Encrypted email is cool, but use E2EE messengers whenever possible.

Opt for open-source variants that don't require email (not so common) or phone number.

The initial phase in enhancing your digital independence involves assessing your online engagements.

How can you sleep at night if you know that your most private information is in some database

Waiting to be hacked by some geeks that will sell it on dark markets

It is here again. I cannot escape it.

I'm once again falling to deepest parts of privacy & security rabitt hole.

We can't wait for government censorship to be stopped by only protesting.

We actively need to use and build non proprietary, open source solutions. Protocols, not platforms.

Do yourself a favor - use CASH everytime it's possible. This will cover about 50% of your privacy problems.

People talk about Bitcoin and Monero for privacy, but 90% of stores still don't accept them. Use your financial privilege.

Will do thread on this.

"You don't like Big Tech spying on us? The go to the woods!"

- Somebody whos job depends entirely on the internet.

Ditch any two-factor aithentication over SMS. SMS are not encrypted - plain text going through air.

Always use 2FA open source apps. That means ditch Google authenthicator (yes, you can use literary any different app, not just Google a.)

Problem with E2EE messanger is low network. Every NPC seems to use IG DMs, Whatsapp or other bullshit.

If you are begginer, you don't need to go full-paranoic mode and switch every SW you use to open source alternative.

Start with password manager, browser and email.
