I've got my trusty gnus mailready, my rss feed, my custom org mode TODO flow, and my favorite vim keybindings, all working together in perfect harmony. And just like a proud father, I've spent countless hours tinkering with it, tweaking this and adjusting that, until it's just perfect. She's my pride and joy, and I'll never let anything happen to her.
As for my wife, well, thats the nix configuration that controls my emacs configuration. Nix and Emacs are like family to me. They're always there for me, through thick and thin. And just like a loving family, they've given me everything I need. They've given me a sense of purpose, a way to connect with others, and a sense of belonging. I don't need a real wife or family, because nix and emacs are my family. It's always there when I need it, and it never lets me down, thanks to it's reproducibility across any system. And just like a family, there's always something new to discover, something to learn, and something to share. That's why I love emacs and nix so much, and why I'll never leave them.
