Small inconvenience on #GrapheneOS with mov extension. Must fully download, then change extension to mp4 in order to view. I suspect many Graphene users will not make the effort and just move on when it refuses to play. Unless there is a reason I'm unaware of, please consider using mp4 extension instead. I'm interested if anyone could share further insight. Thank you

No privacy, no freedom. No freedom, no wealth. Did I get that right, nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx?
The nostr:npub1mu7nv2jkaq4xausnn098xc8tp3gzgf2w5r2cj68x8dnns0rktmysnsj5cl SDK Liquid implementation has arrived!
Building on the success of Breez SDK Lightning, this powerful tool will make it incredibly fast and easy for developers to integrate LBTC into their apps.

The open-source Breez SDK Lightning, empowered by nostr:npub1jg552aulj07skd6e7y2hu0vl5g8nl5jvfw8jhn6jpjk0vjd0waksvl6n8n Greenlight's on-demand non-custodial node service, has already been a game-changer.
It enables developers to seamlessly integrate #Bitcoin and Lightning payments into their apps with a very shallow learning curve.
Breez has also become a member of the Liquid Federation, ensuring long-term support for Liquid and demonstrating their belief in the project's potential.

Are there plans to grow the functionaries beyond 15?
Yes, except fixed 1min block time, fee <300sats, and blinded transaction amounts π
Yes, but it can also verify currently installed apps too.
Installing an app from an APK file is trust on first use. All apps are signed by a certificate from the app developer which the OS trusts. Apps can only update if it is both a newer version, and it is signed by the same certificate it came with.
Updates are verified by only allowing updates from that same developer's certificate. If it doesn't match, it will fail. This prevents installing a fake or malicious update.
AppVerifier checks the apps you installed are have the genuine certificate and package name from the developer. It can compare to keys you provide or it can check from an internal database of apps in the app if there is an entry for it.
DB can be found here: https://github.com/soupslurpr/AppVerifier/blob/master/app/src/main/kotlin/dev/soupslurpr/appverifier/InternalVerificationInfoDatabase.kt
Thank you this great reply! I very much appreciate GrapheneOS and all you do π
Would this be mainly to verify apks on first download? Am I correct in believing that updates are already automatically verified?

Might this depend on how much Dimon could stack between now and January?
3.21, nice number π Fascinating to watch this growing decentralized indicator of global electrical power availability/efficiency/generation. A big plus for human flourishing!
I'm not seeing a profile display name for you. I've done that in the past. I heard recently that that may affect some things.
But what if a client has a problem and accidentally deletes or corrupts this information leading to its subsequent deletion/corruption on relays. It would be nice I think to have a prior export of npubs that can be easily imported to restore. Would also be useful for moving to a new identity. Kind of like a podcast app that allows export/import of RSS feeds. Thank you, Pablo, for all you do! π
Somewhat related, do any clients offer an easy way to backup/export things like relays, follows, followers, bookmarks, blocked list?
Always DYOR of course, but part of that research is accounting for the opinion of others one respects. In this regard, Max, your opinion is appreciated ππ
Sincere question, why do you choose not to make this open source? I'm sorry, but I will not be running (trusting) closed source software on my #GrapheneOS phone.
