Podcasts are an incredible way to inform yourself. There's a wide spectrum of very good material, readily available with just a few clicks and consumable on the go. I'm listening to podcasts for more than 15 years now and I don't think there's another medium that comes close in how much value you can get out of it, if used productively. Immensely thankful for this format, its development in the last twenty years and all the producers that keep on recording and pushing.
Growing up can also be seen as a process of transitioning from intuition to intellect, shifting thoughts and behaviour towards reasoning and detaching from gut feeling, because the world seems to show us that there are straight and proven answers. While this is true to some extend, we overshoot by seeking the optimum and leaving behind the intuitional part in us almost completely.
Psychedilics can act as a means to reconnect with that initial intuitional sphere, leading to a willingness to reflect and readjust thoughts and behaviour to grant more room for what has been neglected or disregarded. Yet, there are other means to that end as well, e.g. spiritual practice.
I think that's why topics like psychedelics, meditation, etc. are also often discussed in bitcoiner circles: Because people are seeking truth on a personal and societal level — and bitcoin seems to be a forcing function for many, either as a starting point of that search or a pillar of truth to be found.
Bitcoin: I came for the money, I stayed for the drama.
