I don't understand why developers are so eager to change Bitcoin? If you're being honest with yourself you know it's impossible for 8 billion people to transact on the base layer neither that is necessary.
Often these proposals are buggy and scammy or bring more problems to be fixed later. We are better off waiting as long as possible till there is real market demand and not just pushing crazy stupid ideas on users who don't even need them.
Bitcoin works fine there no rush to change anything, and yes 8 billion people can use it as is today, they may not be all using on-chain but neither they want to. All my family prefer non-custodial because it's less risky than losing it all on-chain.
Why can't devs focus their energy on lightning, Nostr, Cashu, Fedi, etc? Why f*#k with Bitcoin the base layer? If you have an idea simulate it on a third layer on lightning or make other 2nd layers better.
If you don't have bitcoin you don't have money on your bank account you only have KFC coupons, Airmiles points and PC points, you need real money: bitcoin(SAT)
