The YouTube app is a shitcoin. If the video you want to watch is so important, you could easily do so on your browser, which you'll find out quite soon, it isn't.

The amount of noise that's on there, especially with the ads and how much they've been pivoting towards Shorts has turned me off from using it completely. It's also why I don't use TikTok and Instagram, because I understand how addictive the bite-sized algorithm based video-content is.

Also if necessary, I'll download the app again if it's really that important, finish whatever task made me download it and uninstall it once again.
