What does that tell you?
It’s understandable if you are trying to monetize your account.

I think Bitcoin could get the shit kicked out of it in 2024. I’ll be out there catching the falling knives. But it’s important to tread carefully here. Things haven’t even gotten bad yet.
That’s good because to be honest my trade is not going well
I think we have another year to go honestly. Buckle up.
And just like that the Grayscale pump-and-dump is over. There are few entrants to this market now and plenty of people who have lost interest. Volume has dried up and it’s a PVP environment if you are a trader. My base case for bitcoin is that it grinds sideways to slightly down for a while. We are in the doldrums. Good time to be building a position though.
My husband basically orange-pilled his extended family this week while on vacation at the Red Sea.
They went from barely knowing what a bitcoin is to wanting to allocate a nontrivial amount of their savings to it. I was more of the conservative one because I don’t want to cause people to allocate beyond their level of understanding.
I have a much lower charisma score than him, so I just kind of watched it happen, and then pulled out a nostr:npub1az9xj85cmxv8e9j9y80lvqp97crsqdu2fpu3srwthd99qfu9qsgstam8y8 satscard and explained how it works for some physical flair.
They like the orange coin now. Having your national currency get cut in half relative the dollar in 2016, and then having it happen again in 2022, tends to make one more receptive to monetary alternatives.
Family is tricky. Would definitely encourage a small allocation to start with. The way things are looking I think almost all of 2024 will be good for accumulation. I regret getting caught up in my initial excitement for bitcoin and building my position too quickly. Left a lot of sats on the table. At least it’s not a bull market.
almost no one is paying that…for now

There is absolutely no way the BRICS nations will ever adopt a hard money standard. That entails too much responsibility. They need to retain the ability to print for themselves. Most of the governments within BRICS are far more irresponsible than the United States. In this case I believe that change can only be affected from the bottom up by individuals adopting bitcoin.
