Maybe the only viable solution currently is to set up and access a custodial wallet with TOR or a VPN, but that isn’t suitable for large amounts. Not your keys, not your coins.
Unfortunate. Without one of those or the other fungibility is compromised. Fungibility is a key component of currency, and lightening is the only viable cash replacement function in Bitcoin IMO. Developers, please? 😁

I am confident the problem is somewhere in my system. I’m providing internet access over TOR only on a Linux system. Sometimes it seems that software requires some component in the UDP protocol that TCP doesn’t offer. BitTorrent comes to mind.
I’m migrating from the legacy custodial Alby. Unliking the accounts seems to restore functionality, but ultimately custodial is not what I or anyone else including Alby wants of course.
It will be a couple days until I can have the node running more consistently. I’ll keep at it, I do think that resiliency through network and host computer outages is an important feature. Hopefully it can function regardless of my unstable computer circumstance.

Cut carbs and eating frequency. Exercise is somewhat helpful, but not necessary. Work to get to one meal a day, then one meal every other day. Monitor your blood glucose to confirm it’s above 70 when you feel weak. You will feel different and that’s ok.

An industry in taters… Potato makers are getting chopped, boiled, and mashed up by antitrust. Five new federal lawsuits accuse frozen-spud producers Lamb Weston, Cavendish, McCain Foods, and Simplot of running a curly-fry cartel, colluding to overcharge grocery stores and consumers since 2021. The four companies are said to control 97% of the US frozen-potato market with products like fries, hashbrowns, and tater tots. The suits say that prices of those freezer-aisle staples have soared nearly 50% in the past two years through July.
Staple?! No. Value added luxury product. Ridiculous.

There was a lot more to that event than money. Bitcoin started in 2008. Did the CIA run out of money between the IC event and 2008? No. Did the reach of the CIA expand by orders of magnitude in that same period? Absolutely. I think it’s safe to conclude that Bitcoin is not a funding solution created by the CIA. That is just my humble opinion.
