Another thing I have noticed about Nostr is how people around here seems to be more open to the idea of custodial Bitcoin, which is something I personally think is not ok, but still find it interesting.
Don't know if it's for lack of importance from people, or peer lack of knowledge on privacy matters.
Something I find fascinating about Nostr is that people here is chill compared to Twitter where Bitcoiners tend to be more hostile... even to eachother, here the "vibe" is more relaxed and of people willing to help others and provide value.

There is an excess of maxis saying stupid shit all the time.

And people willing to learn in oder to give value but who don't know where to go or what to do.

Nostr clients need to separate inside people's profiles, the reposts and original notes, from answers to other people's notes.
Right now is a mess, most value actually comes from the feed, but I do actually like to dig into valuable profiles for info.

When moving between on-chain and lightning afaik you will always have to do some spending regarding fees.
Personally I buy and then send to on-chain with muun, I've found it the easiest cheapest solution.
Maybe you are in one specific, afaik there are bots by country but the default one manages multiple country offers.
Also maybe try checking the bot settings.
