So we took this pollen from this one #purpleapricot male and threw it on this other mimosa bud and got some seeds. Then we put the seeds in some dirt and threw some water on it and we got this! #apricotmimosa completely #sungrown, flowered without any artificial lights, in 5 year old #notill soil that wasn’t tested or amended with anything beforehand. End of week 6. No spray of any kind and fed just fish and water.

This is #closedloop #mulching. Just took the hedgetrimmer to all the chunks of tall grass growing in the aisles and along the #ganja beds and topped it back on top. Underneath it is a layer of #nettle, #artichoke, and #comfrey leaves from the previous #chopndrop.

Mission complete. Replaced all the old pallet wood with logs from the neighboring forest while simultaneously thinning it out. These logs will not only stop erosion from happening but will feed the fungal systems in the soil and be food for the #livingsoil life to breakdown over the next few years. Did this whole thing with just three of us and two were ladies. 💪
