These plants have been overhead watered their whole life. That rain was just another day in paradise for them. No broken branches or split stems with very minimal trellising. We cut the overheads about 2 weeks ago and will now hand water when needed until #harvest.

There’s something extra special about making seeds from two parents that were both grown out from seeds. This girl got dropped off at our house last year by someone who rescued her from a Fred Meyer parking lot. We tried to rehome her for a few months but luckily it didn’t work and we got stuck with her. She’s the sweetest girl and super protective over us and our space.

Been getting sucked into the greenhouses lately but trust the outdoor is doing pretty great as well. We tested our soil in April, amended with only two dry amendments, planted the plants, setup a sprinkler, and threw a cage on each plant. That is pretty much it. Haven’t made a single tea, fed a single feeding, or sprayed anything. The plant #diversity is providing limitless #greenmanure #mulch and the #livingsystem is thriving.
