Who’s ready for the 3rd annual NOSTR Super Bowl Square Game? Board goes live on 1/1 in USA (24 hours). Squares will be 10,010 each and the 10 sats will go towards routing fees on payouts. With exception of the routing fee, all sats will be paid out. Assuming all squares get sold for the original amounts, payouts will be Q1, Q2, Q3 winners get 200,000 sats and the final winner gets 400,000. Be sure and get your square before they’re all taken. There’s only 100 squares on the board. Be sure and follow me so you see when the board goes live.

Internet failover testing for my new node.

I’ve solved the Internet failover issue I was having by using a virtual router running on a cheap VPS. Internet traffic for my node will be routed over 2 x VPN tunnels from my home routers to this virtual router, one VPN tunnel over each Internet service. BGP running over the VPN tunnels allows for rapid failover. Ping testing shows only two ping packets dropped when the primary link goes down, the jump in latency is due to traffic going over a fixed wireless link instead of fibre. This should mean that all channels stay up in the event of an Internet service outage.

The VPS does become a single point of failure but I think this is less likely to go down for an extended period of time than the home Internet services. nostr:note1fl0xj3h2t7wwwj56vuj2axplg66z2t9jdngxvugu3xjx2u6x7qhspwdn0g

Think I've found reasons that tailscale is killing LND. Will do some tinkering when back in front of it. BTW does my node appear offline to you atm? I can't wait to have two nodes... :P

Then probably three.. Can then use one as a stable Node, that only provides out/in liquidity, the other two for testing intergrations etc.
