While you do bring up a concerning point, if the government DID ban ASICS they would lose bitcoin to another nation that didn’t ban them. The game theory of it then will lead to the government investing to support the mining industry in some capacity.

Not ban. Restrictions and licensing to own, operate, manufacture or transport. All will lead to centralisation of the hash power. Only a few places make the hardware required and they can be pressured with sanctions. End of the day miners are doing math and if we allow them to frame it as weapons, a whole new attack vector is opened.

Anyone know how to recover previously connected relays. This new update disconnected me from 10/22 paid relays. I'm only connected to 12 now and can't remember which ones I'm missing exactly
