To debug, as posted by nostr:npub1kyglvayh649etnjf2jznlynsrx0uz63vaehuc2pjhwdtj9vph88qyvph68, run the program with `RUST_LOG="debug"` or single out the clipboard with `RUST_LOG="info,egui_winit::clipboard=debug"`.

Had some results with `WAYLAND_DEBUG=1 RUST_LOG="info,egui_winit::clipboard=debug" gossip |& grep data`, but unable to interpret them according https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/1250

CRTL-X Works.

But CRTL+V, or right's mouse button not works.

The "paste action" only work when a given "Paste button" is clicked.

Maybe | Arch | Egui interaction issue...🥺

GOSSIP 0.9.0 has been released

git: branch '0.9', tag 'v0.9.0'

Upgrade Instructions

- SQLite 3 code has been removed. If you are running version 0.7.x of gossip, you need to run a 0.8.x version of gossip at least once in order to keep your old data. Otherwise you can just start fresh.

New Features

- Person Lists:

Curate your own lists of people

View a feed of just those people

Save to nostr events, synchronize with other nostr clients.

Mark members private to save secretly in encrypted contents.

- Onboarding wizard: Steps a new user through what is needed to get set up

- Support for the new nostr CLOSED message.

- Tagging now works by just typing an '@' and the name and picking from a popup list.

- Restyle of DM Chat

- Restyle of Profile pages

- New login page

- Improvements to event deletion (multiple issues resolved)

- "show more" on long notes

- scrolling improvements

- name improvements (which name to use)

- Better tracking of threads and replies (reposts, replies via 'a')

- Command line commands: reprocess_recent, print_followed, print_muted, bech32_decode, bech32_encode_event_addr, print_relay, add_person_relay, print_person, import_event, print_person_lists, add_person_list, rename_person_list,

- Relay communications are kinder to relays

- Documentation reworked

- TLS now defaults to rust code, but native (operating system provided) root certificates.

- Restructured as a library and a binary, so that people who want a different UI are free to replace the UI while continuing to use the underlying library.

- Lots of little things I didn't bother to add to this list. See the git history for the whole truth.

nostr:npub1acg6thl5psv62405rljzkj8spesceyfz2c32udakc2ak0dmvfeyse9p35c, I had a issue with text fields and yanked/pasted content in this new version.

If i yank a content, from another application, to a text field inside the gossip, it will not be pasted.

The reverse only occurs inside gossip.

But if yank from gossip and paste to another application, it works well.

I suggest some whose use of the cello I really like

- Brahms Cello Sonata op. 38

- Bartók String Quartet No. 3

- Villa-Lobos Bachianas Brasileiras No. 1

@npub1acg6thl5psv62405rljzkj8spesceyfz2c32udakc2ak0dmvfeyse9p35c, just updated gossip-bin package for archlinux. The script extract `.deb` package and do a properly install of its contents

For Brazilians guys learning how to use #krux, there's an interesting workshop by #areabitcoin:

https://www.areabitcoin.com.br/workshops/krux

Really nice to see @npub1az9xj85cmxv8e9j9y80lvqp97crsqdu2fpu3srwthd99qfu9qsgstam8y8 saying "(...) going in the right direction". 😀

@npub177zfcmyscnl7805qtx7cn8v9607n3s9m096fl8nev5uzqdg6mruqshdp8e, if you can (and when you can), I would like your opinion on this issue:

#krux #krux-installer

Just updated #krux installer binary package on AUR for #archlinux users

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/krux-installer-bin

One of the coolest things that @npub1r4y9mtc2sm020d2fa25qhzept3633ad7mstegu80ur60s4qnqs5sxsuwud created was use #krux to sign (and verify its signature) of any file in an airgapped way.

It was originally in your gist as a #python script

https://gist.github.com/odudex/3c627700df658c1509e3ca673307a509

Talking to him, I proposed the creation of an executable for any OS that can be found here:

https://github.com/qlrd/krux-file-signer

f***, I forgot to change the header to "Krux-Installer v0.0.1-alpha-6" on top of the window.

It appears "Krux-Installer v0.0.1-alpha-5"

(i'm so tired these days, sorry for forgot this simple thing).

But it's v0.0.1-alpha-6; for clear any doubts, verify:

I will fix this on v-0.0.1-beta.

Updated krux-installer-bin package on AUR. Now #archlinux users can install #krux with few commands and mouse clicks and make #bitcoin airgapped transactions.
