It’s the same as installing any OS from a usb flash drive. I suggest the “nonfree” ISO version for Macs. Installed easy peasy on a 2014 MacBook Pro and 2015 MacBook Pro. Even wifi worked afterwards by going into settings and turning wifi on.
If you are familiar with flashing OS’s from usb drives you can also just go directly to the GitHub releases and get the x86 nonfree .iso and go from there.

I didn’t mind buying ebooks on Amazon back when the De-DRM plugin worked with Calibre.
1. Purchase ebooks from Amazon, Apple. Support the author.
2. Load it into Calibre.
3. Press the de-drm button and have a copy of the book in any format that is truly yours.

Apple unfortunately. Primal for Android is open, can use primal wallet or use any other wallet like on Amethyst. Damus for iOS had issues in the past with Apple as well.
I’m not mocking anyone and I agree it’s really dumb.
I think it’s also dumb for Telegram we have to provide a phone number and constant nagging to give access to my entire contacts list and also provide my birthday every week but we both use that still and are many of the same groups. I’m sure you used a service to use a throw away number to give to Telegram the same way I did and you probably advise others to do the same as a good measure to avoid doxxing yourself?
For Primal It was advice for people that want to use a single feature on a single app on a single operating system. I keep seeing a lot of people upset about having to provide “KYC” to use this. Here is a way around it 🤷♂️
