Iâve seen some services on here taking ~6000 sats ($1) a month or something. I believe you can set it up for free on github though but I havenât done that myself.

Now itâs mainly just to support either everyone or just your friends or community to have an online space to talk freely. Who knows about the future, maybe there will be economic incentives to host âhigh qualityâ relays? Maybe there are communities such as Bitcoin Twitter or similar that stream sats to be able to keep the server running? Endless opportunities, lots to explore!
