There’s a bright spot or two - my grandson Miles celebrated his eighth birthday on 3 August and my battle buddy Fred turned 46 on 1 August but other than that, the month of August can suck pretty bad; it’s the month in 2006 my oldest son Ryan was KIA in Iraq and buried 17 years ago on this date (14 August). One of the ways I cope is by sharing photos of ships, lighthouses, owls, song links, random thoughts from other folks and political crap with people here. Hope you don’t mind.
