nostr is just reaching the threshold of being usable, much improved in the couple of weeks I've been here. Desktop clients > mobile clients (android), at least in my experience.
I still find twitter to be better for discovery, being exposed to new topics and ideas. Nostr as a whole is still far too niche, but the trend is positive.
And zips >> likes, though likes still have a place.
I hate the garbage that is now forever part of the blockchain data -- but that's my judgement of the data, bitcoin doesn't care.
I'm neutral regarding blocks being full and fees being up. As a miner that's nice. As a lightning node operator, it's annoying. It's just the new normal, we've been spoiled by a period of very low fees and empty mempools.
I feel relatively positive about the increased energy that has come in the last few weeks and the potential for a new wave of bitcoiners. Come for monkey jpegs, stay for the revolution.
