The modern #US (and global) #economy is so heavily influenced and controlled by government that it's closer to a #fascist economy than a #capitalist one.
I used to consider myself #democraticsocialist thinking that #capitalism was the driver of the concentration of wealth, but now I realize that #FIATcurrency is the true primary cause of our problems and pushes society towards #Fascism over time.
#FIAT gives #government the ability to pick and choose who wins through subsidies and regulation, and drives business to flee the currency by buying other businesses which drives the development of #monopolies. Adding in #socialism meanwhile just enhances the power of the state to control our lives which makes our problems worse by pretending to make it better.
The way forward is #BitcoinCapitalism which ultimately restores #FreeMarketCapitalism. Capitalism without a meddling government that has an unlimited money printer fucking it all up, is the ultimate economic system for #prosperity.
Bitcoin is financial #Penicillin for the sick financial system currently running our society. I can't wait for our global Bitcoin economy, it'll be beautiful. 😍

So I'm #exmormon, and I'm a #Bitcoiner. I watched an old #Mormon comedy for the first time in a decade and something hit me.
When I was learning the #truth about how my Mormon worldview was a lie, and I tried to talk about it with fellow Mormons, nobody wanted to listen. I was essentially seen as a conspiracy theorist.
I get the exact same feeling learning that our entire global financial system is a #lie, with Fiat improvising everyone and robbing us constantly through debasement of our currencies, and nobody wants to listen when I try to talk about it and how Bitcoin fixes it. I'm seen as a conspiracy theorist.
I think the main thing is people don't like making their own decisions, it's scary. Both the Mormon Church and the Global Banking System are seen as trusted authorities by the people within those systems. Leaving Mormonism/The Banking System is seen as the scary wild west so most people don't want to even learn about it... but once they do they can never go back. You can't unlearn that there's no Santa Claus.

People say owning #BTC is bad for the #economy as it doesn't put your money to work. That couldn't be farther from the truth.
Every person, company, or country that holds BTC on their balance sheet is boosted by every purchase of BTC, because when you convert your economic energy into BTC, the entire network sees that value boost it's market cap.
Effectively, BTC is a single "stock" representing the entire BTC economy, when you buy BTC you're supporting the global BTC #ecosystem. All individual #HODLers, BTC #miners, BTC companies, and countries that embrace BTC as legal tender, share that value added benefit to the network as your personal demand slightly increases the price, that increase then draws new business and effort into the BTC economy which further increases the price and draws new buyers looking to get in like a continuous feedback loop.
Putting your economic energy into BTC is great for the BTC economy, it's only bad for the #FIAT #debtslavery economy, but that's kinda the point isn't it?
