I've been attempting, with varying degrees of success to teach myself modern web stuff, and I understand Rust to a minimal functional level of competence but had no real understanding of the Internet post about 2005. The real struggle has been learning the front end stuff, particularly because I have a very poor knowledge of NodeJS and React. Obviously I'm looking at Leptos or Dioxus because they're Rust frameworks (the back/middle end Actix and Axum stuff seems relatively mature and straightforward/SQL is still SQL) but my lack knowledge of NodeJS and React is a pain in the bum. I'm like an Amish person with a TV remote. Dioxus strikes me as very ambitious and Leptos very well documented. It's not that there aren't better frameworks from Google or lots of others but my Amish-ness precludes those and they're not Rust.
A good picture, not an awful picture, but Instagram knackers the resolution and knackers the compression. Higher res AVIF or WebP would be better. JPEG is fine but with commonly available CPU power needs a phase out. Taken during a 5 minute vacation from the keyboard.

It's ironic NVIDIA were ahead of the crowd on this one and it shows the inherent financial reflexivity in stock prices - Jevon's Paradox has repeatedly shown that increased efficiency hasn't led to decreased resource consumption. I suspect NVIDIA were in a bubble but the downside is equally facile.
