Yea...

This is a great early article about the monetization possibilities of relays from nostr:npub17vfczefc56xsh920rtkfad0t347xc8j5llta3wvs8hglq8sxycxst57j5y

https://andreneves.xyz/p/the-rise-of-paid-nostr-relays

Since then several paid relays showed up, most popular probably nostr.wine, and they are playing and creating the market.

Currently it looks like there's severe imperfect information on this market, and there's wild guesstimation about what price to expect for what service, and how to implement in a sustainable business model.

Tldr, solutions come to the problems.

so you're bullish on this protocol right?

what exactly is the game theory around who is supposed to store all the data? lacking a centralized entity and all. what is the incentive for anyone to store all these memes?

asking you because i dont know who to ask.

Supply always comes where the demand is 🤌

Fiat jobs vs blue collar jobs; effects of AI & recession on them.

BTC Prague had a smart 2-tier pricing.

1) Main stage access ~$300

2) GA without main stage access ~$30

- that included access to all the "village" with booths, side stages, food courts, chill zones, ...

Great for people not caring about the speakers' content. And those might be either experienced folks, or the normies on the edge.

Imagine trying to convince your buddy (or general normie public) who's not in the rabbit hole to get a ticket to BTC conference for hundreds of dollars, vs to come chill with you to the "BTC fair". Totally different value prop. And so much better for all the booth vendors as well.

Wow. That's one thing it absolutely doesn't have! 😅

Solid way to short fiat if they give you 0% for 15-18 months. It's an ongoing stimmy for upper middle class now.

Let's see what happens with the demand then.

Point of sale; majority market share in SMBs (coffee shops, taco stands).

They operate just in the US and CA, I think.
