That's part of the issue. There's a social stigma around nonvoting, equating it to laziness, apathy, disinterest instead of how it should be seen: genuine unsatisfaction, discontent, unapproval, distrust, etc.

I can’t remember the last time I opened Twitter and was NOT greeted by some kind of violent or shocking video.

Switching to “following” doesn’t work. It just defaults back.

Blocking and muting those amounts didn’t work, others just spring up out of nowhere and are straight back on my feed.

The algos are so heavily rigged to lower your consciousness that it’s not even addictive any more. If you’re gonna rig the algos and push an agenda or psyop, at least try to make it mildly appealing!
