We switched to raw milk a while back, can definitely taste the difference if we need to use supermarket milk now
One of the first times Lady H and I ventured abroad together was to Heidelberg back in the early 80s. No planning, couldn’t speak a word of German, ferry and train. Managed to find a room in a pension when we got there. My Memories are drinking lager in the student bars and a couple of American servicemen walking up to the castle. Great days.
I haven’t been to Germany for a good few years, but i do remember how when we were there everyone seemed to be well dressed and fit looking. Please don’t ruin it for me
Some mistake, surely
English common law and the law of God. Not terribly dissimilar.
English Common Law. As disregarded by decades of UK governments.
What we’re dealing with here is a total lack of respect for the law
That encapsulates the whole difference between English Common Law and Continental Napoleonic Law. Time was here when you could do anything as long as it was not explicitly prohibited. Now you need to check whether you are allowed to or not. It’s a subtle difference, but a difference nonetheless.
If I did that I’d be retired
