Hey DOGE.
You could have saved us $1,000,000,000 here.
What happened?

The U.S. has about 35,000 military personnel in Germany.
They don't belong in Germany!
Put them on our border.
Our own troops have a much greater INCENTIVE to stop drug trafficking than the Mexican troops will.
This is the mentality that libertarians are often (wrongly accused) of having -- atomistic and isolationist.
But it's an error.
In the same way that my family needs other families in my town...
So does my state need the other states...
And my nation needs other nations.
Division of labor and resources scattered unevenly and unequally all over the planet demands it.

You NEVER want your government to be an empire.
A) The government taxes you for never-ending wars against a never-ending stream of 'enemies.'
B) The government taxes you to pay off the other nations to be your 'friends' and 'allies.'
Be a normal country. Empires suck.

The people who grow, process and ship avocados to us messed with America?
Americans have to pay more, or do without, because these avocado companies messed with America?
The crisis is always someone else's fault:
Russia, China, Canada, Mexico ... we can list them all day.
Rand Paul was called “Putin’s Puppet” for wanting the money to be accounted for.
Both Left and Right know how to use the excuse of foreign boogeymen to rip us off.
The American people are always the dupes.
We have 1000 bases and troops sprawling all over the world.
But we have to put tariffs on Mexico and Canada…because we can’t protect our own border.
It’s like a prescription from a morbidly obese doctor.
MEGA?
Make Europe Great Again?
Start by getting rid of the Soviet EU. Europe should be separate and sovereign nations again.
The EU centralized power for the U.S. to control at a single point...instead of trying to control all of the separate nations.
Decentralize.
DOGE says they’re saving money. Federal employees are being financially enticed to leave…etc.
But where the rubber meets the road (the price of gold) we’re not seeing a belief that price inflation will subside.
Gold is not pointing to a more financially responsible federal government.
Why?
Two things are at the forefront of my mind.
Trump is pushing the Fed to lower rates, which is inflationary.
And then there’s the thorn of Trump putting is into yet another (even bigger) war in the Middle East.
That’ll cause the printing presses to run, further impoverishing us, and officially sinking America First.
Tariffs are taxes that right-wingers cheer onto themselves (and everyone else).
The income tax is the tax that left-wingers cheer onto themselves (and everyone else).
This aspect of Trump makes me cringe.
Tariffs? Who cares about tariffs?
Stop sending money and weapons to Israel.
When they "do what they gotta do" it's done with America's backing and approval.
Stop putting us, the American people, in this situation. It creates hatred towards us, and we don't deserve it.
This was always my worry about Trump. And I'm far from the only one that worries about it.
This is the real America First test...and whether or not he will pass that test.

One thing about human nature is that we can't pronounce bad ideas as dead.
The best we can do is keep bad ideas away from power.
In that sense, woke is certainly getting hammered, which is wonderful. But it is not dead.
Even communism is not dead, despite stacking up more dead bodies than any other bad ideology.
Every attempt at micromanaging the world has failed, yet the United States still tries...and fails.
Humans are always susceptible to re-adopting bad ideas.
Archbishop Fulton Sheen had America pegged in the 1940’s:
“America is not in danger from the outside, but it is in grave danger from the inside.”
[And yet, we Americans are perpetually propagandized into fear of foreign nations.]
“The internal danger can become the source of external danger. Invasion was a possibility from the time Roman morals began to decline…”
[Like the Romans, our morals went into the bottom of the gutter. At the same exact time, America was invaded. But our invasion was facilitated from within! Our own government opened the borders to allow it!]
“There is no reason to believe that the laws of history should operate in a different way as regards America.”
[They did not. And unless we shut down the empire, and trying to micromanage the world, we’re just buying time…and America will be just another footnote, like the Romans.]
If you have to threaten other countries, it means your currency is not “mighty” and your economy is not “wonderful.”
Other countries are leaving the dollar because the system was weaponized against them, and units were counterfeited by the trillions.
If Trump doesn’t drastically reduce the size of government and spending, no amount of bombast will save us.
China risk?
China has 1 foreign military base to our (ridiculous) 1,000.
China won’t put military in Greenland. In the unlikely chance they do, then, perhaps you can make a claim of “risk”.
What’s the risk then? That China would do business with Greenland?
Perhaps the U.S. should do business with Greenland, instead of imperialism.
So many reasons to End The Fed. This is yet another.
By artificially suppressing interest rates, The Fed incentivizes retired people to toss their money into equities in order to keep up with the Fed's inflation.
It's no guarantee that they'll even be able to keep up with inflation.
In and of itself, there is nothing wrong with investing in equities. But you should know what you are doing. It's certainly (in my opinion) not something that 80% of retirees should be doing.
A vast (vast) majority are at the mercy of their 'financial advisor.'
80% risking retirement funds in equities is unnatural. Without the Fed, I don't believe it would be anywhere near that high.
End the counterfeiting Fed.
The counterfeiters have long steered Americans away from gold, by calling it a "pet rock."
Counterfeiters lie.
Dollars and Euros are not "plagued by money and laundering and other criminal activities"?
Or is it that the greatest money launderers and criminals use dollars and euros?
