Without broader tax reform to plug the various loopholes an income based next no matter how well meaning taxes workers and many high paid workers are mobile, their skills are in demand internationally. The truly wealthy don't work and move their wealth outside of what is classed as income.

So #RishiSunak & #MichaelGove's plan to 'support' house building by removing a key regulation on #housing developments' impact on water courses has been defeated in the House of Lords (responding in part to lobbyitng/advice from #environmental groups).
This means to revive the removal of 'nutrient neutrality' requirement a new act would be required & as #Labour has now stepped back from an initial hint it might also deregulate, the latest threat to the UK's #rivers looks to have abated.

I vote absentee, we can register at the polls if we vote in person, now if I want to change my party I have to go and appear personally at the Townhall to do so. It used to just be a form. I’ve done it a bunch of times switching between indy and dem. But since 2020 it has to be in person in front of them.
