I recently made an electronics work bench in my 8x12 shed. I also installed 8 outlets.

I've never built anything like this before. I think it turned out rather nice.

Now I just need to get my 3d printer up and running, get a bench meter and maybe an oscilloscope.

CivKit from Ray Yusef looks awesome. Reading the white paper makes me realize just how much at the start of Bitcoin we really are, much less that of nostr.

So does Civ Kit build on the NIP, or are they two different things? I’m interested in it but still need to read the CV paper.

Glad to hear someone is into it because tbh, hearing of all the drama with Paxful makes me a bit wary. Not 100% sure who to believe in all that

I'm almost half way done with this course and it's hands down the best audio lecture course I've taken.

I'd say this one and "the science of energy" should be on every bitcoiners list of things they should listen to.

Well, the thing is that they never had an powerful enemy. The internet changed things for the better for us. The internet, bitcoin and now decentralised social media is more powerful than they are. I think Robert Breedlove said something along the lines: they are good at fighting centralised powers. But how are you going to fight an idea? Bitcoin is an idea. Nostr is an idea. The cat is out of the bag. Over the long run they can only lose. But they will fight, for sure

We had a nostr meetup in HK today!

Observations:

A LOT of interest from China, everything was done in Mandarin.

Interest is from the same kind of crowd as attended Nostrica - builders, users and VCs, but the ratio is different: more builders and VCs than Nostrica.

There's definitely something big brewing in China wrt nostr, and a large community in Beijing + Shanghai, they are already doing regular meetups.
