Are the #Bitcoin ETFs eking forward or getting ready to shake out the market again? Only time will tell. I’ll patiently wait in my solvency to find out.

One catalyst that is not up for debate: the halving event. It’s inevitable that we will see it in 2024.

Mainstream acceptance is upon us, the masses won’t be directly buying #Bitcoin, but they will be stimulating demand for it, they will start to see the value behind #BTC and realize they could self custody to eliminate counter-party risks.

The biggest advantage #Bitcoin has over every other asset is its ease to self custody and maintain, it seems difficult because it’s new, but Facebook was new once too, now everyone and their grandma can use Facebook. #BTC is not far behind.

When you use “Aqua wallet” you’re not even holding Bitcoin.

You just have Liquid IOUs that can be submarine swapped with a central party to send or receive Lightning payments.

that’s not a Lightning wallet. Doesn’t seem clearly communicated at all to users.

Why the need to “fake” Lightning for users?

The revenue numbers are likely legit if they are reporting gross bitcoin sales as revenue (similar to cash app). 200mm annualized is a crafty way of saying 50mm/quarter and Cash app is 50x that amount which is what id assume to be the multiple ahead of Swan.

Assume an average fee of 2%, the actual quarterly net revenue is probably $1mm on bitcoin sales.

we can't #grownostr without putting in the work ourselves. for example, we have no central entity that's going to reach out to businesses and market nostr for us. we'll need to reach out to businesses that we'd like to see on nostr, informing them that their customers are here, and the benefits of supporting freedom technology. happy building.
