A Russian Pantsir defense system opened fire on Ukrainian drones tonight in Moscow. According to the Russian government, 337 Ukrainian drones were intercepted in the Moscow area.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed that fighter jets conducted a series of strikes overnight on southern Syria, targeting radar systems, detection equipment, military headquarters, and sites housing weapons and military resources linked to the former Assad regime. The IDF emphasized that the presence of these assets represents a threat to Israel’s security and stated that the attacks were carried out to prevent future dangers.

Tonight’s Ukrainian drone attack against Moscow is the first attack by Ukraine against the Russian capital in 2025, and likely the largest since the large-scale drone attack against the city in September of 2024, which consisted of well over 140 drones targeting Moscow.

Prior to today’s agreement in Syria between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Syrian Government, the Commander of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), General Michael E. Kurilla, completed a four country tour of the Middle East, which included high-level meetings with senior officials in Israel, Jordan, Syria and Saudi Arabia. While in Syria between March 6-7, General Kurilla met with U.S. military commanders and servicemembers, as well as top officials with the SDF, likely including the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Mazloum Abdi. It’s believed that today’s agreement in Syria was discussed during these meetings as well as others, with it likely receiving direct approval from the United States.

Former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte was arrested today by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) of the Philippine National Police, who were serving an Interpol arrest warrant. The warrant, handed down by the International Criminal Court (ICC), was issued for the actions taken by Duterte in back during his term that reportedly saw thousands of drug suspects killed with little to no due process. Authorities apprehended the former president after he arrived in Manila from Hong Kong today.

Explosions and fire tonight across the Russian capital of Moscow, following a large-scale Ukrainian drone attack against the city. Damage has been reported to a number of high-rise apartment buildings and other locations, with Russian authorities claiming that air-defenses downed at least 58 drones on approach to Moscow.

Celebrations tonight in front of the Citadel of Aleppo in Northern Syria, following today’s agreement between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Syrian Government, which means that Aleppo will soon be unified for the first time since 2012.

According to Barak Ravid of Axios, citing an unnamed source familiar with the situation, White House Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff may meet Russian President Vladimir Putin later this week.

A Federal Judge in New York City has halted the deportation of Mahmoud Khalil, a Palestinian activist known for organizing last year’s occupation at Columbia University in support of Hamas, while the Court considers a lawsuit challenging the legality of the revocation of his Legal Permanent Resident Status and his arrest Saturday by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Additional airstrikes tonight by the Israeli Air Force, on former military bases of the Assad Regime in Southwestern Syria, with strikes reported to have targeted bases of the 89th Regiment and 12th Armored Brigade in the Daraa Governorate, and the 90th Brigade in the Quneitra Governorate.

According to Bloomberg, U.S. President Trump’s Special Envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff plans to travel to Moscow soon, in order to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
