The US president said he would like to see a ceasefire from Russia and hopes that "Russia will do the right thing," because if not, it will be a very "disappointing moment for the whole world." https://video.nostr.build/441193fbfb985b6c858bb07c9e85cbef8b68fc38d892e916d93a138bb7d7270e.mp4
Trump’s ceasefire proposal has been officially rejected by Russia. According to the Russian government, the agreement is nothing more than a pause designed to benefit Ukraine. Russia has made it clear that its goal is a long-term deal that meets its demands, including international recognition of the Ukrainian territories it has invaded and occupied.
Yesterday, Trump stated that he would destroy Russia’s economy if his proposal was rejected. Now, we wait to see how the U.S. president will respond to Russia’s refusal. https://video.nostr.build/de9dbbcc2ccfb36266da9d269f7c8e7b83daf9b16e8426e14a30e8edc4635e9d.mp4
Sweden’s Minister of Defense Pål Jonson has just announced a New Military Arms Package for Ukraine, worth over $300 Million, which consists of 18 additional “Archer” 155mm Self-Propelled Howitzers and 5 “ARTHUR” (Artillery Hunting Radar) Counter-Battery Radars.
Sweden has also announced that it will be joining the Artillery Capabilities Coalition, which is led by France and consists of at least 14 Countries working to build and advance Artillery Capabilities utilized by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
According to Russian state-owned news outlet Tass, the Kremlin’s foreign policy advisor, Yuri Ushakov, is set to meet the United States’s White House Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, today “in a closed format.” This comes as the U.S. has reportedly received the Russian response to the U.S.-Ukraine ceasefire proposal. The response mirrors much of Russia’s past demands but notably has additional demands pertaining to the U.S.-NATO Eastern European force-posture.
Here we can see Putin saying that he “agrees with the idea of a ceasefire,” but… he raises a series of conditions, essentially stating that he does not want Ukraine to receive weapons or train more soldiers during the ceasefire.
In other words, Trump’s ceasefire proposal was not accepted by Putin. He wants a ceasefire, but on his own terms—one that would involve a complete halt of Ukraine’s military capabilities, meaning that during the ceasefire, Ukrainians would be unable to receive weapons or mobilize more troops. https://video.nostr.build/aaae2aa9e71f72150b00ba9058f80de5c52baecfaab848c6d236a7a161ed8a6b.mp4
The Trump Administration has reportedly ordered U.S. Southern Command to begin drafting military options for the Panama Canal, with plans including the forcible seizure of the canal by military means, similar to parts of “Operation Just Cause” in 1989, or a defensive partnership between the U.S. Armed Forces and the Panamanian Public Forces.

Vladimir Putin has responded to Trump’s ceasefire proposal for Ukraine. He stated that he “agrees with the proposal” but added that Russia seeks a long-term ceasefire that “addresses the causes of the ‘crisis’ in Ukraine.”
By “crisis,” Putin refers to Russia’s invasion, and by “causes,” he means the removal of Volodymyr Zelensky’s government, the recognition of Russian-occupied territories, and the demilitarization of Ukraine.
In other words, Russia has effectively rejected the ceasefire proposal, and the war continues as before. Now, all eyes are on Trump’s next move, as he previously stated he would “destroy the Russian economy” if Putin did not accept his proposal.
With this Russian stance—after Ukraine had already accepted the ceasefire—Trump’s narrative that Ukraine was unwilling to negotiate peace collapses. Even Marco Rubio, speaking in Saudi Arabia, said that if Russia rejected the deal, the U.S. would finally know who truly does not want peace.
Now, we wait for the Trump administration’s response. https://video.nostr.build/ac3be888b23149724a5a12c98f8ffb0b81f2d8b40887085cae9c1ac63a2eb8d0.mp4
Chinese exercise showcasing new amphibious landing craft. As seen, the vessels interconnect, enabling faster landings on narrower beaches—a common feature of Taiwan’s coastline. In recent years, China has placed special focus on developing amphibious assault ships. The objective is clear: Taiwan.

Video has surfaced of the Chinese barges tailor-made for allowing easy ship-to-shore transfer of supplies to a location without proper docking facilities. The barges, first noticed in a Chinese port a number of months ago, are commonly compared to the “Mulberry Harbors” during follow-on operations after D-Day.
The barge’s military applications are obvious and would allow for follow-on forces and sustainment efforts in a Taiwan invasion scenario once a deep beachhead was established by any Chinese invasion force. However, given the nature of Taiwan’s available beaches and the susceptibility of the barges to precision strikes, it still remains to be seen how effective these barges might be in such a scenario.
Putin said that the relationship between Russia and Belarus could be an example for other countries.

The Israel Defense Force (IDF) has confirmed a strike in Damascus, Syria today, claiming that the targeted site was a command and control (C2) hub of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terror group. Israeli decision-makers, including the defense minister, have vowed to to continue such strikes should the transitional government allow these groups to proliferate under its nose.

Immediately following the strike, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a statement threatening the President of Syria, with him stating, “Wherever terror activity against Israel is organized, the extremist Islamic leader al-Jolani (al-Sharaa) will find the Air Force aircraft flying above and striking terror targets.” President Ahmed al-Sharaa is currently at the Presidential Palace in Damascus, where he is expected to soon announced Syria’s first Constitution since 2012.

The Belarusian dictator Lukashenko is already in Moscow and stated that "Russia cannot be pressured into accepting a deal with Ukraine, as the U.S. pressured Kyiv." Lukashenko’s statement, along with those from senior Kremlin officials, suggests that Putin will reject the U.S. ceasefire proposal.
It’s worth noting that yesterday, President Trump said he would "destroy Russia’s economy" if Putin does not accept the deal.

The Kremlin Foreign Policy Advisor, Yuri Ushakov, has said that the current 30-day ceasefire proposal doesn’t benefit Russia. However, all reports that Russia has rejected the proposal are untrue at this time, as Russian President Vladimir Putin will have the final say. Given White House Special Envoy Steve Witkoff’s confirmed trip to Moscow soon, barring a significant development, it’s unlikely that we’ll see a full rejection or acquiescence to the proposal from Russia's top decision-maker before then.
