The Israel Defense Force has announced that it intercepted a long-range ballistic missile fired earlier by the Iranian-backed Houthis at Central Israel; with the missile being intercepted outside of Israeli Airspace, likely once again by an “Arrow-3” exoatmospheric anti-ballistic missile interceptor over Jordan or Saudi Arabia.

Despite claims today from Al-Arabiya as well as several accounts on X, that the French Foreign Ministry has ordered French Nationals to immediately leave Iran, there has been no official announcement of this from France’s Foreign Ministry or their Embassy in Tehran. The last travel directive issued by France for the Islamic Republic was on January 10th, where French Nationals were recommended against traveling to Iran due to the risk of arrest and detention.
Putin has signed a decree stating that all Ukrainians in Russia without "legal grounds for residence" must leave the territory of the Russian Federation by September 10, 2025.
This could also be a preparation for the mass deportation of Ukrainians from the temporarily occupied territories, which Putin already considers "his own."

The Houthis have released a statement saying that they targeted Ben Gurion Airport in Israel with a Palestine 2 “hypersonic” ballistic missile. As reported earlier, this missile was shot down by the Israel Defense Force (IDF) before it reached Israeli airspace. Additionally, the Houthis claim to have targeted the USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) and its Carrier Strike Group (CSG) with a “number of ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as drones.” At the time of writing, no interceptions by U.S. vessels has been confirmed.
Houthi statement on the launch against Israel is expected soon according to the spokesperson for their armed forces.

The Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist group is claiming to have downed yet another U.S. Air Force MQ-9 “Reaper” Surveillance and Attack Drone today over the Dhamar Governorate of Southwestern Yemen. So far there has been no confirmation yet by the U.S. Department of Defense or evidence provided by the Houthis, but if true, this would be the 16th MQ-9 to be shot-down by the Houthis since 2023.

According to Reuters citing Russia’s national daily newspaper Kommersant, Russian President Vladimir Putin would like U.S. President Trump to formally recognize Russia’s claim to all regions of Eastern Ukraine annexed in September 2022, including Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia, as well as the Crimean Peninsula, which was invaded and annexed by Russia in 2014. In exchange for the recognition, Putin has said that he would not lay claim to the Ukrainian port city of Odesa on the Black Sea and other territory in Ukraine. When asked, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov claimed that Putin had not discussed the idea with Trump during their call on Tuesday.
Following the end of the ceasefire and resumption of fighting in the Gaza Strip, the Israel Defense Force has resumed limited ground operations in the center and southern areas of the Strip, with the aim of expanding the security zone and creating a partial buffer between the north and south of Gaza. Soldiers of the 252nd "Sinai" Division reentered the Netzarim Corridor to the south of Gaza City, capturing around half of it, up to the Salah a-Din Road running through the center of Gaza. At the same time, elements of the 1st "Golani" Brigade redeployed to border areas in Southern Gaza, in preparation for future military action against Hamas and other terror groups within the Gaza Strip.

During an earlier White House presser, when asked if the U.S.-Ukraine minerals deal is now defunct, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt reiterated past comments by saying that they have “moved past” the mineral deal to focus on long-term peace deal between Russia and Ukraine. While a definitive answer, “no,” was given at first, the secretary’s subsequent answer, as well as those from State Department officials, would indicate that the minerals deal may no longer be on the table.

According to Axios, U.S. President Donald J. Trump’s recent letter delivered to Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei included a “two-month deadline” for Iran to agree to a new nuclear deal. The letter reportedly did not say what would occur once the two months elapsed, but it is likely that the chance of U.S. and/or Israeli military actions against Iran and its nuclear program would dramatically increase.
