The Israel Defense Force confirms that a ballistic missile was fired earlier by the Houthi terrorist group in Western Yemen at Central Israel, with it being intercepted by the Air Force outside of Israeli Airspace. Footage of the interception suggests that it was once again done using an “Arrow-3” exoatmospheric anti-ballistic missile interceptor over Jordan.

In a post earlier today on Truth Social, U.S. President Donald J. Trump announced that he would be imposing secondary tariffs on Venezuela, “for numerous reasons, including the fact that Venezuela has purposefully and deceitfully sent to the United States, undercover, tens of thousands of high level, and other, criminals, many of whom are murderers and people of a very violent nature.” According to the post from President Trump, after April 2nd any country which purchases oil or gas from Venezuela, will be required to pay the U.S. a 25% tariff on any future trade done with companies within the United States.

Impeached South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, who was impeached late last year for his actions following the martial law imposition, had his impeachment overturned in a 7-1 vote by South Korea’s Constitutional Court today. Han, who was impeached back in December of 2025 for failing to appoint justices reviewing Yoon Seok-Yoel’s impeachment. Han will now take over again as acting president from the finance minister, Choi Sang-mok. It’s yet unclear when the court will make a ruling on impeached President Toon’s impeachment.
According to the German newspaper BILD, Russia could attack Lithuania by this autumn (between September and December). In the article, citing experts and sources linked to NATO, the newspaper states that this could be the last summer of peace in Europe.

The Israel Defense Force (IDF) and Shin Bet confirmed that they conducted a precision strike on the second floor of Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip. The strike eliminated a yet unnamed Hamas decision-maker, who was operating out of the hospital. Just like the Arleigh Burke-Class Guided-Missile Destroyer, USS Gravely (DDG-107) which departed last week from Naval Station Norfolk for a deployment to the Gulf of America (Gulf of Mexico), to support Homeland Security on the U.S-Mexico Border. On the other side of the United States, USS Spruance (DDG-111), which just returned from a five-month deployment in December, departed today from Naval Base San Diego, for a deployment under U.S. Northern Command’s Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB). Also similar to the Gravely, the Spruance will be accompanied by an embedded U.S. Coast Guard Law Enforcement Detachment (LEDET).
Locals report a number of strikes by the U.S. Navy and/or Air Force against Houthi-controlled Hodeida International Airport alongside several other military sites in and around the city of Hodeida in Western Yemen. Hodeida Airport, which is also operated as a military airfield by the Houthis, has been targeted several times by the U.S. since 2023.
The Israel Defense Force has confirmed that its aircraft carried out a wave of airstrikes earlier against Hezbollah military sites in Lebanon, targeting command centers, infrastructure, terrorists, rocket launchers, and a weapons storage facility south of the Litani River. These strikes, as well as the ones earlier today, were in response to the launch of three rockets today by Hezbollah against Northern Israel.
