Acting Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Defense, Steven A. Stebbins, notified Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth today that he has launched an investigation into him and other DoD personnel for last month’s Signalgate, referred to by Stebbins as the “use of an unclassified commercially available messaging application to discuss information pertaining to military actions in Yemen in March 2025.” The Inspector General states that the investigation will take place in Washington, D.C. and at the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) Headquarters in Tampa, Florida, though more locations may be determined throughout the investigation. The Inspector General’s Office requests two points of contact from the Secretary of Defense for the duration of the investigation, a Government employee who is knowledgeable of the subject, and General/Flag Officer who is familiar with the subject and can act as point of engagement with the DoD Office of Inspector General.

The Paraguayan Public Prosecutor’s Office has decided to launch a criminal investigation into the alleged hacking scheme carried out by Brazil against Paraguayan government officials.

According to Defense News, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth will not attend the "Ramstein" meeting on military support for Ukraine, scheduled for April 11 in Brussels.

This marks the first time the U.S. will miss such a meeting. Additionally, the Pentagon will not send senior officials or other representatives who typically accompany the secretary.

Russian air defense systems also seem to be struggling with the threat, with multiple clips showing Tor/Pantsir SAM systems failing to hit the Ukrainian drones.

After being hit with a 20% tariff from the U.S., Europe announced today that it will retaliate—just like China, which faced a 34% tariff on top of existing ones and vowed to do the same.

Full list of Trump’s tariffs against other countries

U.S. President Donald J. Trump has just revealed a massive wave of new tariffs that the United States will impose on all countries across the world, starting at 10% and based off of what President Trump calls “currency manipulation and trade barriers” set by each country, they includes a 46% tariff on Vietnam, 34% on China, 26% on India, 25% on South Korea, 20% on the European Union and many many more.

The Israel Defense Force has confirmed that it targeted “remaining military capabilities” tonight at both the T-4 Air Base and Hama Air Base in Central Syria, which included runways, fuel depots and radars, along with additional military infrastructure sites near the capital of Damascus.

Fires continue to burn at Hama Air Base in Central Syria, following over a dozen airstrikes earlier by the Israeli Air Force, resulting in significant damage to the base as well as a number of casualties among military personnel of the Syrian Army.

In a video statement earlier tonight, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirms that ground forces have reentered the Southern Gaza Strip, stating that their goal is to seize the “Morge Axis” which will run between Rafah and Khan Yunis, further separating Southern Gaza from its border with Egypt.

Russian channels are reporting that a Tu-22M3 “Backfire-C” Long-Range Heavy Bomber, which are regularly used by the Russian Air Force for missile attacks against Ukraine, has crashed in the Irkutsk Oblast of Siberia. A search-and-rescue operation for the crew of the bomber is currently ongoing, through it is not known if they were able to bailout before the crash.
