Trezor deducted a percentage from the price while ledger sent you some bizarre refer a friend code that is so annoying to try to redeem in their stupid ledger live app. It kept asking me to sign in with ethereum 🙄 possible user error, but the process was so convoluted

Definitely gonna take a little while to write it but I learned a lot and even created a meme! Read a few bips, sometimes I wish there was a bips for dummies type explanation for them. The big unlock for me today was that bitcoin addresses are actually the locking conditions of the transaction. So when you send an address to someone, their wallet decodes it, sets the locking conditions on the transaction accordingly and sends it off to the network. Feels nice to understand that a little better

I love the chronological feed but also think it will be cool when nostr clients allow you to upload your own algorithm. For example some type of tuning per user so you can see more or less posts from someone without having to unfollow
I’m trying to understand the differences between all of the wallets. I would like to a self custody wallet like phoenix with nostr but phoenix stores my private key on my phone and so it needs to be online to sign the transaction. If I don’t have internet or have the app closed it can’t receive the payment. Does that sound right to you? Anything you learned recently?
The lightning network is so complex and super frustrating for me to try to even get my bearings while trying to learn. But I think that just speaks to novelty of the technology and it’s exciting to be here while it develops
